The house is made from lovely Portland Stone, and after seeing the well proportioned ground floor we were amazed to see the basement room. It’s such a cosy, warm, beautifully lit and comfortably furnished place to relax and feel totally at ease with the world. The bedrooms are a good size and bathrooms clean and modern. Having a second shower in the basement was also very useful. A short, 10 minute drive to Portland Bill where you can see the sunset, it’s in a very good location too. I would recommend this as a place that is both lovely to stay in and also provides a good experience of what Portland is all about.
