Osprey Holiday Cottages win New Business of the Year 2021!

Osprey Holiday Cottages are delighted to announce their win at the Weymouth & Portland Business Awards 2021!  And it wasn’t just any award – New Business of the Year!

After being announced as a finalist in early July, we were awarded it at a ceremony at the Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy.

 

The awards

Winners at the event included some of the brightest and best in Weymouth & Portland.  Just over 90 companies were nominated from across the area and were judged by a group of online independent judges.  Each entrant received votes based on their entry or nomination.

 

 

Philippa Snell, Director of Osprey Holiday Cottages, said “It’s our first year of trading since lockdown and it’s been a blast!  We’ve put our all into Osprey Holiday Cottages to get the very best offering of holiday accommodation in our area – and this is just part of the proof.”

Why did we win?

The company won based largely on their approach to marketing, transparency and service.  Owners can log in to check bookings and request services 24 hours a day, while guests enjoy a concierge service.  We also work with local companies wherever possible, keeping the local connection.

So, where’s the certificate?

Well, it’s on display alongside the other accolades we’ve already won.  Due to our commitment to being ‘Covid-safe’ we already have We’re Good to Go certification and for our international visitors, we’re also recognised by the World Travel & Tourism Council…
